Project summary:
The goal of the project TRESOR is to develop and design a Cloud ecosystem. In this ecosystem will be exemplary use cases of the health sector implemented, especially patient care. Parts of this Cloud ecosystem will be a new and open PaaS-platform as well as a Cloud Broker. The platform is based on established standards for application services like USDL and OSGI and enables interoperability between different providers to prevent Lock-in effects at the Cloud migration.

Additionally the reuse and the orchestration of various services will be supported. This leads to cost reduction and accelerated implementation cycles of new services. On this emerging market place of Cloud resources the Cloud Broker becomes the role of a trustworthiness mediator which allocates, mediate, bundles and makes resources accessible considering company guidelines, legal regulations and security requirements. The broker also integrates new concepts on the geographic limitation of service usage and the associated data.
