Received a double diploma in Industrial Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) at the Technical University of Madrid with focus on applied informatics, operations research and corporate finance.
- April 2017: Received doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) with distinction (summa cum laude) on the topic of "Platform Business Models and Adoption: Evidence from the ICT and Smart Home Industry"
- Since May 2012: Research associate at the chair of Information and Communication Management at the TU Berlin (Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Zarnekow)
- 2011-2012: Consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners (Munich, Germany) in the competence center Telecommunications & Online Business
- 2010: Diploma thesis on “Modeling of preferential wholesale pricing of international mobile roaming services”
- 2009-2010: Business analyst/intern at T-Mobile USA (Bellevue, WA, USA) in the department of Corporate Development & Wholesale
- 2007-2008: Research assistant at KIT (Germany) in the department of Production Technology

- Critical success factors of platform leadership
- User acceptance and network effects in platform-mediated markets
- Control and incentives in platform ecosystems
In particular, I apply these research perspectives to the Smart Home market.

- Learning Systems & Machine Learning
In the form of software projects, I empirically investigate the technical feasibility and problem solving potential of above technologies in the online grocery business.
